Your media files

The audio or video file you choose is processed in your browser. TranscriptBeam does not upload that media file to an application server.

Downloaded processing components

To run transcription, your browser downloads software components and a speech-recognition model from third-party content hosts. Those providers may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and browser request details. Your selected media file is not sent with those requests.

Accounts and submitted data

The current site does not require an account and does not provide a form for submitting personal information. If you email us, the information in your message is handled by the email providers involved in delivering it.

Hosting

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy practices.

Advertising

TranscriptBeam may display third-party advertising in the future. If advertising is added, this policy will be updated to identify the relevant provider and explain its data practices before those ads are enabled.

Changes

This policy may change as the site changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
