About TranscriptBeam
TranscriptBeam is a small browser-based transcription tool. It turns a local MP4 video or WAV audio file into a timestamped transcript that can be reviewed and downloaded as TXT, SRT, or VTT.
Built around local processing
Your selected media file is processed inside your browser. TranscriptBeam does not upload that file to an application server. The browser downloads the processing components and speech-recognition model when they are needed.
Current scope
The first version supports the tested MP4 and WAV inputs shown on the tool page and is designed for English speech. Its limits are published beside the tool rather than hidden behind a sign-up.
